Job summary

Hi Marley is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to build distributed, scalable software that powers connections between carriers and their customers. You’ll contribute to cloud-native solutions with AWS, AI-assisted development tools, and a pragmatic hands-on approach.

The role requires 6+ years of experience, collaboration with product and design, and a willingness to work from our Boston office 2–3 days per week in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience.
• Experience designing distributed architectures, AWS cloud.
• Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and React.
• Experience with AI tooling to improve development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deliver scalable software across the stack.
• Collaborate with product and design to translate customer needs into technical solutions.
• Apply modern AI development tools to accelerate implementation, testing, and documentation.
• Write clean, testable code and continuously improve architecture and practices.
• Mentor and elevate engineering standards within the team.
• Contribute to technical strategy and system health.
