Amentum at NASA Johnson Space Center seeks an IT Systems Administrator to deliver hands-on systems engineering and IT operations across engineering software enablement, end-user support, and OT interfaces.

The role requires a Bachelor's in CS or IS and 3–5 years in enterprise Windows environments, with experience in Maximo, SharePoint, SQL Server, and related tools. On-site with potential after-hours work; compensation is $115,000 with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent experience.
• Three to five years supporting enterprise Windows environments and user services on-site.
• Experience with software installation / upgrading procedures.
• Experience with file and system maintenance procedures.
• Prefer experience with Maximo.

Responsabilités

• Provide primary NASA and Amentum PC support including ordering, deployment, configuration, and user support (ServiceNow).
• Support local team access and user support for Amentum applications (Costpoint, Citrix).
• Manage and support Amentum KIOSK systems.
• Coordinate IT supply ordering and delivery from storerooms (mice, keyboards, monitors, cables, etc.).
• Serve as NASA and Amentum Property IT point of contact for asset tracking and management.
• Provide support for engineering software applications including AutoCAD, ETAP, RSMeans, and related tools.
• Troubleshoot software installation, updates, licensing, and performance issues.
• Coordinate software updates and version management.
• Assist users with technical questions and training needs.
• Assist with security plan for cyber security.
• Assist with server administration as needed.
• Provide backup support for OT software platforms (WebControl, Encellium, B20 WebStation, etc.).
• Support OT end device troubleshooting.
• Assist with OT device networking and documentation.
• Assist with SQL Server database (DBA) support.
• Support VM server patching and updates.
• Assist with ColdFusion application development and support.
• Provide backup for eCMMS support (Maximo, reporting, etc.).
• Assist with new technology investigation (AI, MS Power Platform).
• Utilizes standard corporate tools to record change and problem activities for tracking purposes.
