Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Systems Administrator to install, configure, troubleshoot computer systems and provide help desk support on a 24/7 basis. The role involves on-site duties with rotation of day and night shifts in a mission-critical environment.

Candidates must have active TS/SCI eligibility, a Security+ CE certification, and DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II training, plus 2–4 years in IT and Windows OS. On-site work requires a valid driver’s license and strong Office skills.

Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility; US citizenship required.
• CompTIA Security+ CE certification.
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II training.
• 2–4 years IT and Windows OS experience.
• Experience administering Windows 11 and Windows Server 2016/2019.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Knowledge of network topology and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist with configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting of desktops, servers, networks and video systems.
• Participate in installation and administration of local systems using multiple protocols and tools.
• Write detailed technical problem reports; perform root-cause analysis and suggest changes.
• Install, upgrade, and administer Windows 11 and server OS in multi-user environments.
• Provide IT help desk support to users.
• Perform other related duties as directed.
