Job summary

COLSA is seeking a Systems Administrator to support NASA Shared Services Center operations at Stennis Space Center. The role covers enterprise systems administration, maintenance, and end-user computing support to sustain mission critical IT services.

On-site collaboration with managers and staff is required to ensure reliable operations. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in IT/CS or related field and has strong Windows enterprise experience, AD administration, and IT security knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience supporting Windows-based enterprise environments and enterprise applications.
• Experience administering and troubleshooting enterprise software and user access management.
• Familiarity with Active Directory administration and enterprise authentication methods.
• Knowledge of IT security principles, system hardening, patch management, and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support enterprise systems, OS, applications, and infrastructure.
• Manage configuration, deployment, patching, upgrades, monitoring, and availability.
• Provide technical support for system, application, and user issues.
• Support Center-specific and third-party software solutions across environments.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Administer user accounts, access controls, and security configurations.
• Support software lifecycle management, licensing coordination, and compliance.
• Assist with vulnerability remediation and policy compliance.
