Job summary

The FNB Community Bank in Vandalia, IL is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to drive reliability, security, and innovation in our technology landscape. You will plan and implement all activities of the bank's computer operations and serve as the senior member of the IT team.

You will manage core banking system administration, coordinate with vendors, develop IT policies, and work with leadership to improve automated applications, systems performance, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, MIS, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in information technology or a related role.
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local regulations related to information technology.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in understanding computer hardware, software, networks, and data operations.

Responsibilities

• Provides troubleshooting and technology expertise for activities of the computer operations department including system software and equipment development.
• Manage the priorities and resources of the IT team to ensure access to the systems, technology and training they need to succeed.
• Develops and implements computer operations policies and procedures, including core banking system.
• Act as the primary administrator of the core banking system, including working with vendor as primary contact, troubleshooting issues, setting up new products, and communicating updates to retail team.
