Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, MIS, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in information technology or related role.

Responsibilities

• Provides troubleshooting and technology expertise for activities of the computer operations department including system software and equipment development.
• Manage the priorities and resources of the IT team to ensure access to the systems, technology and training they need to succeed.
• Develops and implements computer operations policies and procedures, including core banking system
• Act as the primary administrator of the core banking system, including: work with the core banking system vendor as their primary contact, troubleshoot issues, set up new products, curate and send update communications to retail team members
• Consult with bank leadership to clarify software needs, identify problems, and recommend changes to improve and increase automated applications
• Consult with project leaders to identify needs, evaluate existing equipment, and plan for appropriate changes to equipment to accommodate new products, services, and management information
• Reports to senior management on plans, projects, performance, and related computer operations matters
• Monitors the functioning of equipment, evaluates projects to assess the adequacy of existing hardware, and determines purchase needs
