Job summary

Winter Park Resort is seeking a senior IT Systems Administrator to design, implement, and maintain its IT infrastructure, including servers, cloud services, identity systems, POS platforms, and mobile devices. You will balance day-to-day operations with strategic initiatives, under guidance from leadership, ensuring high availability and adherence to ITIL processes.

The role requires strong technical expertise, independent judgment, and excellent customer service, with on-site responsibilities

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience installing, maintaining, and supporting computer systems.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in systems administration, server infrastructure, or network administration.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex issues in high-availability environments.
• Valid Colorado Driver's License.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows/Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with virtualization technologies: VMware, Nutanix, Hyper-V.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, monitor, and support assigned technology platforms, including servers, networking, storage, backup, cloud, and SaaS/IaaS solutions.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and incident resolution; act as escalation resource.
• Participate in on-call rotations for 24/7 resort operations.
• Maintain ITIL-based service management processes and ticketing standards.
• Develop, maintain PowerShell scripts and automation; support technology upgrades.
