Job summary

CVS Health is hiring an IT Principal Support Specialist to deliver advanced Level 2 support for store technology and communications. You’ll collaborate with Field Technical Services, IS RX/POS, and vendors to keep operations running smoothly, including rollout and relocation stores, with weekend and second-shift coverage.

You’ll monitor systems, troubleshoot hardware, and coordinate telecom repairs, while transitioning to a hybrid schedule after onboarding in Smithfield, RI.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a technical support or IT support role.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 technical support for store systems and technology issues.
• Support the Store Systems Help Desk, Field Technical Services, and POS/RX apps in troubleshooting complex problems.
• Investigate and resolve store hardware and connectivity issues between corporate and store infrastructure.
• Proactively monitor store systems and network performance using monitoring tools.
• Coordinate vendor repairs for telecommunications circuits and equipment.
• Program, maintain, and troubleshoot telephone systems with vendor coordination.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities while delivering timely resolutions.
• Apply critical thinking to diagnose and resolve technical issues in a fast-paced environment.
