Qualifications

  • Over five years’ experience in Help Desk support in a Windows environment.

Position at BayMark Health Services

Sr. IT Support Specialist

Remote position but will be required to travel to facilities as needed. Must live within 2 hours driving distance to the site.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide expert technical support for hardware and software via phone, email, and in person.
  2. Respond to technical issues related to desktops, servers, phones, and systems.
  3. Configure and set up new PC/laptop hardware.
  4. Manage and maintain assigned systems.
  5. Maintain responsible management of company assets.
  6. Assist in enterprise data protection efforts for disaster recovery and business continuity.
  7. Assist with administration and installation of the company's infrastructure.
  8. Maintain the company's telephone system.
  9. Recommend and plan IT strategies to support company objectives based on research and evaluation.
  10. Handle stressful situations professionally and interact effectively with others.
  11. Be present at the office during working hours for meetings and access to a computer, in accordance with company policy.
  12. Stay updated on IT trends and regulations to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
  13. Follow all security policies to maintain system and data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
  14. Perform other IT-related projects as needed.
  15. Participate in department meetings and activities.
  16. Respond promptly and accurately to support inquiries.
  17. Remain composed in stressful environments and meet deadlines with multiple priorities.
  18. Follow instructions and apply critical thinking to decision-making.
  19. Comply with internal controls, policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  20. Maintain regular attendance and professional conduct.
  21. Support company mission through positive interactions with staff.
  22. Conduct special projects as assigned.
  23. Provide after-hours on-call support as directed by the IT Manager.
Qualifications
  1. Must be at least 18 years old.
  2. Minimum five years’ experience with enterprise IT systems management or a BS in Information Technology with certifications (A+, MCP, MCSA, MCTS).
  3. Over five years’ experience in Help Desk support in a Windows environment supporting end users.
  4. Expertise in Windows desktops and MS Office.
  5. Experience with Windows Server, Exchange, and Virtualization.
  6. Strong communication, training, and problem-solving skills.
  7. Attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation skills.
  8. Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
  9. Superior customer service skills, ability to work independently and in team settings.
  10. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment with diverse activities.
  11. Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple priorities daily.
  12. Satisfactory references and criminal background check.
  13. Flexible, cooperative, and adherent to professional standards and practices.
