An established industry player is seeking a seasoned IT leader to oversee a dynamic team responsible for the configuration and maintenance of IT systems and networks. This pivotal role involves onboarding and offboarding processes, implementing IT policies, and ensuring compliance with security measures. In this leadership role, you and your team will be responsible for:
Day-to-day Responsibilities:
Configuration and imaging of laptop computers.
Installation, configuration and maintenance of networks, printers, computers, system software and updates.
Onboarding and offboarding employees/contractors to Microsoft Office 365 and Azure Active Directory & Intune policies.
Sending assets to employees on prior onboarding and follow-ups.
Exit formalities, collecting assets from employees with standard procedure.
Performing defined monitoring tasks for the region and enterprise.
Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, WiFi and system issues.
Utilizing company ticketing system.
Implementing IT policies. Keep policy documents up-to-date and strictly follow the IT policies and compliances.
Maintaining inventory of all IT assets and service records.
Remote support for employees online and offline software, hardware requests.
Responsible for coordinating with vendors for service and warranty checks.
Responsible for setting and maintaining firewall controls.
Leadership/Strategic Responsibilities:
Work with Company Leadership to recommend and implement advanced technologies.
Continually review installed environments identifying areas for improvement to streamline and create efficiencies within the environments.
Collaborate with Company leadership to hire new team resources as deemed necessary and provide reporting relationship support per Company requirements.
Assist with annual budgeting and approval of spending related to internal IT Services.
Define and implement advance measures for privacy and security as the Company services and product demand.
Continue to advance yours and your team’s knowledge through training aligned with the Company goals.
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related degree is required.
5+ years of overall professional work experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Excellent working knowledge with:
Microsoft Azure technology, Active Directory, MS Intune (including Group Policy creation/assignment), mobile device management, Exchange, PowerShell, Security & Compliance.
Microsoft Office 365 Enterprise and associated software (i.e., Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.).
Networks, network security, VPN, data backup, Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP).
Implementing Automation throughout an Office 365/Azure Active Directory environment.
Knowledge in Mail configuration & migration.
Experience with operating system installation, upgrades and patching.
Knowledge of video conferencing setup and public accessories setups is a plus.
Knowledge on Biometric configuration.
Experience in setting up and customizing workflows in ticketing systems.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong documentation skills.
Strong time management and organizational skills. Must be able to juggle multiple tasks at any given time.
