Job summary

NRI North America is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis for a client in Lyons, PA. The role focuses on advanced technical support, systems administration, and helping ensure reliable IT operations across user environments.

Responsibilities include diagnosing hardware and software issues, managing enterprise apps and OS configurations, and delivering user training. Travel to client sites is required as needed to support deployments and upgrades.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a technical support role at Level 2 or 3 capacity is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems and troubleshooting techniques.
• Strong networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced hardware, software, and networking support and resolve complex issues escalated from Level 1 support.
• Diagnose and repair desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals; troubleshoot OS and business apps.
• Maintain core systems and update documentation; assist with equipment refreshes and new deployments.
• Travel to client sites as needed to provide on-site IT support and training.
