Job summary

Booth Management Consulting, LLC (BMC) is seeking an IT Support Lead to oversee the DOE AMMS IMD program. The role provides senior technical leadership for IT support operations, guiding daily tasks and end-user technology lifecycle to ensure mission readiness.

The ideal candidate will have strong enterprise hardware/software knowledge, API/tool familiarity, and excellent communication to coordinate with government and prime contractors.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or closely related field.
• At least 5 years of IT experience, including DOE or government environments.
• A minimum of 3 years providing technical support in DOE or government settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and daily direction to IT support staff, assigning work based on priorities and team capabilities.
• Manage the full lifecycle of end-user technology and IT assets, including provisioning, configuration, inventory, vendor coordination, and equipment refreshes.
• Serve as a key liaison with Government, prime contractor, and leadership stakeholders to communicate status, manage expectations, and meet strategic objectives.
• Apply expert knowledge of enterprise hardware, software, and IT support practices to ensure reliable technology, operational readiness, and mission success.
• Independently plan and manage IT support projects, including schedules, resources, priorities, execution, and closeout.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues, applying advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving expertise.
