Job summary

Altana, the AI-forward network for trusted trade, seeks a Senior IT Support Engineer in Brooklyn, NY. You will be the escalation point for the service desk, owning complex tickets, and shaping IT strategy with security alignment and AI-driven automation.

You will manage Windows and Mac fleets, ensure network stability, and support meeting and collaboration tech, with a hybrid on-site/work-from-home setup.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent.
• 4+ years of real-world IT support experience in a fast-paced environment, supporting 250+ end users.
• Hands-on depth across the modern IT stack: MDM, identity/SSO, core networking, macOS and Windows administration.
• Track record of owning and delivering projects with major organizational impact.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 IT engineering support and serve as the escalation point for the service desk.
• Own full lifecycle of Windows and Mac fleet deployment, patching, and retirement via MDM.
• Partner with Security to harden the environment and manage access controls.
• Leverage AI and automation to reduce routine work and improve service quality.
