Job summary

Options Group is looking for candidates with Unix/Linux skills, strong database knowledge in SQL/Sybase/Oracle, and a background in IT support, particularly within the financial services industry.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Middle Office systems and knowledge of scheduling tools like Autosys. Previous work in investment banking and compliance with ITIL standards will be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with financial services industry is important.
• Prior experience of BPS (Broadridge) is strongly desirable.
• ITIL qualifications beneficial.

Skills

Unix/Linux skills including Shell/Perl scripting

Strong database knowledge – SQL/Sybase/Oracle

Basic knowledge of programming languages – JAVA or C++

Hands-on IT support experience & knowledge of Middle Office systems

Knowledge of scheduling tools – Autosys

Experience of functional/technical support in investment banking

Working within ITIL standards
