The AVP-IT collaborates with executive leadership, oversees DoIT operations, budget, and vendor contracts, and champions innovation, infrastructure modernization, and service excellence to enhance student, faculty, staff experiences.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science or information systems.
• 8+ years IT leadership experience; 5+ years in senior management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with enterprise IT solutions and governance.
• Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall project management.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily management oversight of IT operations.
• Assist VP-IT in developing and executing the IT strategic plan.
• Lead directors of DoIT service units and prioritize projects.
• Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects.
• Identify emerging technologies and drive innovation.
• Build relationships with executive leadership and stakeholders.
• Develop IT policies, security governance, and risk management.
• Assist budget development and asset inventory.
• Establish KPIs to measure IT performance.
