Job summary

Gartner Inc. is seeking a Senior Consultant to shape, manage and deliver IT strategy engagements for clients, including benchmark studies and technology investments analyses.

You will interact with executives, document issues and recommendations, and drive value through independent judgment and structured methodologies. The role requires 5+ years in strategic IT, consulting or equivalent experience, plus strong analytical and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of diversified strategic IT experience (technology, organization and processes).
• Consulting experience in a professional services firm or industry experience at a strategic or management level.
• Analytical skills with ability to assess complex IT scenarios.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of time.
• Strong project management skills and ability to work in a diverse international environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and document issues and recommendations using independent judgment.
• Conduct research, interviews and presentations for clients at executive/board level.
• Assist with cost/benefits analysis and business case preparation for technology investments.
• Coordinate and communicate engagement results via reports and oral presentations to management.
• Contribute to development of project management, QA and consulting methodologies.
• Deliver strategic IT consulting engagements including IT benchmarking for various clients.
