Job summary

Info-Tech Research Group seeks a Research Director for IT Financial Management to own the delivery of IT Spend and Staffing Benchmarking engagements for CIOs and CFOs. The role is senior, client-facing and shapes how benchmarking services evolve across a global Member base.

You will mentor analysts, collaborate with researchers and sales teams, and drive innovation with AI productivity tools while advancing cross-border engagements and after-hours coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required (business or technology preferred).
• 5–10+ years in IT Cost Benchmarking, IT Financial Management, or Project Management.
• Experience in project-driven environments.
• Presentation and facilitation experience demonstrated through prior client-facing engagements.
• Eligibility to obtain appropriate work authorization for cross-border engagements within North America.
• Availability for periodic after-hours work to support APAC-based client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver ITFM’s flagship offering - IT Spend and Staffing Benchmarking engagements with analyst support.
• Act as a trusted guide for C-suite clients in IT Financial Management, sharing cost-management insights and benchmarking lessons.
• Improve the benchmarking service through your expertise, exploring new data representations and insights.
• Keep a pulse on industry trends and best practices, contributing ideas to shape the benchmarking service.
• Support Call Advisory, Workshops, and Global Services teams with research and analysis as needed.
• Provide SME feedback to other teams and partners in Sales and Marketing.
• Design and deliver high-quality keynote and other presentations.
