Job summary

SubroSmart is seeking an experienced IT Specialist in the Plano, TX area to provide Tier 1-2 end-user support and manage Microsoft 365 environments. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues while delivering high-quality user assistance.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years hands-on IT support, strong Microsoft 365 expertise, and a solid understanding of AD/Entra ID, DNS/DHCP, VPN, and security policies. This role requires clear communication and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of hands-on IT support experience.
• Strong Microsoft 365 administration and Entra ID/AD proficiency.
• Solid networking fundamentals and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1-2 helpdesk support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Administer and manage Microsoft 365 / Office 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID/Azure AD).
• Manage user accounts, permissions, licensing, and security policies.
• Support Windows workstations, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Troubleshoot email, authentication, and collaboration platform issues.
• Work with ticketing systems and IT management tools.
• Assist with endpoint management, patching, and device compliance.
• Maintain documentation and support IT operations.
