Job summary

Peerless Technologies seeks an Information Technology Specialist to provide Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) support for AFRL STO programs. You will assist with IT objectives, security systems, and secure communications, both classified and unclassified, under Government oversight.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to troubleshoot a broad range of IT systems.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong organizational and customer service skills.
• Experience with secure communications and information systems.

Responsibilities

• Support senior personnel with IT program objectives, systems, and applications.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, software, operating systems, and information security systems.
• Provide technical support for telecommunications and secure video teleconferencing systems.
• Diagnose and resolve computer, network, hardware, and software issues to prevent outages and minimize downtime.
• Perform configuration management, system diagnostics, repairs, and replacement of hardware components and peripherals.
• Maintain hardware/software inventories and ensure compliance with software licensing requirements.
• Support COMSEC account management, inventories, and required self-inspections.
• Support the Government Configuration Control Board (CCB) and maintain security databases.
• Enforce approved SOPs and Information Assurance SOPs and assist the Government Security Officer.
• Identify system performance issues and recommend improvements to enhance operations and customer support.
• Track IT project milestones and ensure timely resolution of user issues.
