Job summary

The New York City Police Department seeks a Senior IT Architect to lead enterprise technology initiatives at 1 Police Plaza. You will architect, design, and deploy solutions across Dynamics 365, SharePoint Online, and the Power Platform, guiding developers and ensuring architectural integrity.

Responsibilities include CI/CD with Azure DevOps, Azure services integration, and compliance with city standards while driving innovation and modernization of enterprise platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a computer science or related field with extensive architecture experience.
• Significant full-time experience in enterprise solutions, architecture and IT infrastructure.
• Equivalent education and experience acceptable in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design and develop solutions on Dynamics 365, SharePoint Online, and Power Platform.
• Guide developers and build applications using Power Platform Dataverse tables.
• Envision, design and implement business workflows using Power Automate flows.
• Leverage Azure services (Service Bus, Logic Apps, Functions) for integration.
• Establish CI/CD using Azure DevOps and enforce architecture standards.
• Ensure compliance with city standards and oversee lifecycle of applications.
• Align work with NYPD standards and update practices with industry trends.
• Configure Power Platform tenants, environments, and MFA/AD authentication.
