Job summary

The City of New York’s Information Technology Services (ITS) is recruiting for a Senior IT Architect to function as a Solution Architect. The role focuses on designing complex code modules, overseeing COTS extension standards, and ensuring integration with ACCESS HRA/Mobility solutions across DSS/OTI environments.

Responsibilities include leading fit/gap analyses, documenting designs, supporting security accreditation, conducting security scans (Veracode), and coordinating with App Store review

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics or related field and six years of related full-time experience in enterprise/solutions/network architecture and/or IT infrastructure systems.
• Bachelor's degree and ten years of related full-time experience in enterprise/solutions/network architecture and/or IT infrastructure systems.
• Education and/or experience equivalent to the above.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with M&O staff on design and development of complex code modules and POCs for new design approaches to the portal and mobile applications.
• Provide oversight on functional and technical aspects of the COTS extension standards.
• Ensure product impacts on the AHRA system are understood during design sessions.
• Lead fit/gap analysis, translate designs to detailed technical design for large-scale applications.
