Job summary

The City of New York’s NYPD seeks a Senior IT Architect within the Strategic Technology Division to lead business solution architecture across Dynamics 365, SharePoint Online, and Power Platform. You will guide developers, design workflows, and ensure standards compliance while aligning with citywide and NYPD requirements.

Responsibilities include CI/CD with Azure DevOps, Azure services integration, and configuring secure identity with Azure AD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Engineering with 6+ years in enterprise architecture
• Experience in enterprise or solutions architecture and IT infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of Azure services and identity management

Responsibilities

• Architect, design and develop solutions on Dynamics 365, SharePoint Online, and Power Platform
• Guide developers and build applications using Power Platform Dataverse tables
• Envision, design, and implement business workflows using Power Automate Flows
• Architectural experience of utilizing Azure services like Azure Service Bus, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Functions for system integration
• Design and help implement CI/CD using Azure DevOps
• Establish standards and best practices to ensure compliance with architecture standards
• Maintain compliance with architecture standards and oversee the application development life cycle
• Ensure alignment with Citywide and NYPD standards, proposing updates based on industry best practices
• Experience configuring Power Platform tenants, environments, and subscriptions
• Experience configuring authentication, MFA, and authorization using Azure AD and related services
