Job summary

Owens & Minor seeks a Senior Manager, Indirect Category Management to lead strategies, supplier management, and complex procurement projects across indirect spend. You will partner with executives to optimize value, savings, and risk, while developing a high-performing procurement team.

The role emphasizes software licensing, SaaS negotiations, cloud economics, and IT services procurement with a strong business-facing stance and governance across categories.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of procurement, sourcing or related experience.
• 3+ years of direct people leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multiyear category strategies for indirect spend.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing events, including RFP/RFQ and negotiations.
• Manage supplier relationships and drive cost savings and performance.
• Partner with CIO and IT leadership on technology initiatives and cloud strategy.
• Coach and mentor procurement team members to improve capabilities.
