Job summary

Applica is seeking an experienced Contract Specialist III – IT Software Contracts for a 12-month on-site role in Houston, TX. You will own the full software contracting lifecycle, negotiating complex technology agreements and aligning terms with business requirements.

You will work with Legal, IT, Cybersecurity, Finance, and Procurement to manage risks, optimize commercial terms, and drive renewal strategies. This hands-on role requires independent ownership of negotiations from start to finish.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on IT software contracting experience.
• Experience negotiating Master Agreements, SOWs, and NDAs.
• Ability to manage agreements through review, negotiation, execution, and renewal.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full IT software contracting lifecycle from review to execution.
• Collaborate with Legal, IT, Cybersecurity, Finance and Procurement to meet business needs.
• Negotiate licensing, SaaS and cloud contracts, MSAs, SOWs and renewals.
• Support RFP/RFI processes and vendor relationship management.
• Seek opportunities to improve terms and reduce costs.
