Job summary

CompTech Computer Technologies is seeking an experienced IT Service Desk Specialist – Level III to provide advanced technical support in support of the Defense Health Agency (DHA). This position handles complex hardware and software issues and acts as an escalation resource for the most challenging incidents, working on-site at JBSA-Lackland, San Antonio, TX.

Qualifications

Six (6) years of progressive experience in IT technical support.
Experience with advanced troubleshooting in an enterprise IT environment.
Ability to create thorough technical documentation of troubleshooting activities and resolutions.

Responsibilities

Provide advanced technical support for complex hardware, software, application, workstation, and related client-level IT issues.
Serve as an advanced escalation resource for incidents requiring troubleshooting beyond Level I and Level II support.
Document all troubleshooting activities, diagnostic findings, technical actions, escalations, and final resolutions within the designated ticketing system.
Collaborate with system administrators, network teams, cybersecurity personnel, application support teams, and other technical specialists to resolve complex problems.
