Job summary

CompTech Computer Technologies is seeking an experienced IT Service Desk Specialist - Level III to provide advanced technical support in support of the Defense Health Agency (DHA). This on-site role at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland requires diagnosing and resolving complex hardware, software, and user-access issues while handling escalations.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of progressive IT support experience in service/help desk.
• Experience with enterprise IT environments and advanced troubleshooting.
• Ability to document troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
• Strong communication skills with customers and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support for complex hardware, software, application, workstation, and related client-level IT issues.
• Serve as an advanced escalation resource for technical incidents requiring troubleshooting beyond Level I and Level II support capabilities.
• Document troubleshooting activities, diagnostic findings, technical actions, escalations, and final resolutions within the ticketing system.
• Collaborate with system administrators, network teams, cybersecurity personnel, application support teams, and other technical specialists as necessary to resolve complex problems.
• Identify recurring issues, trends, and potential root causes and communicate findings to appropriate technical teams.
• Recommend improvements to troubleshooting procedures, workflows, documentation, and service desk processes.
