Job summary

AlixPartners is seeking a Service Desk Senior Engineer in Chicago to join our Corporate Services IT team. You will serve as a trusted point of contact for executive and VIP users, handling Level 1/2 issues, AV setup for meetings, and rapid incident response across a hybrid in-office and remote environment.

The role requires strong ServiceNow ITSM skills, MS 365 proficiency, macOS support experience, and a customer‑minded, discreet approach.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a service desk or deskside role.
• Experience with ServiceNow ITSM including incident, request, and problem management.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 apps, Windows, printers, and networking.

Responsibilities

• Handle IT queries via phone, email, chat, and walk-up; log in ServiceNow and triage issues.
• Provide hands-on AV support for conference rooms and events; configure Zoom/Teams devices.
• Resolve Level 1/2 issues in person, remote, or with guided fixes.
• Maintain ticket records and knowledge base; identify recurring problems.
• Escalate to other IT teams and coordinate with vendors for warranty service.
