Shiseido Americas is seeking an experienced Security Engineer to lead IT security for the Americas region, deploying and governing security solutions and training teams. You will collaborate with regional teams to ensure robust protection and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes PCI/PII compliance, risk assessment, and 24/7 security operations, reporting to senior leadership and coordinating closely with HQ.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in information security operations or engineering.
• Bachelor’s/advanced degree in security or CS.
• Strong knowledge of architectures, release methodologies, project management.
• Hands-on with firewalls, VPNs, IDS, encryption, PKI, DMZ, and secure networks.
• Familiarity with PCI/PII data protection and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT security services for the Shiseido Americas region.
• Develop, support, and monitor regional/global security infrastructure.
• Oversee PCI/PII compliance and vendor QSA oversight.
• Lead incident response and security governance activities.
• Translate business needs into risk controls and security policies.
• Create training programs to raise security awareness.
• Define KPIs, dashboards, and regular executive reporting.
• Oversee SOC managed services and cross-functional security initiatives.
