Job summary

PeoplesBank is seeking a Senior IT Security Administrator to safeguard the bank’s systems, data, and digital environment. You will lead efforts to strengthen cybersecurity defenses, monitor threats, and implement advanced security solutions for both cloud and on‑prem environments.

This role influences security strategy and provides guidance across the bank’s risk and security teams, aligning with standards like NIST.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4–8 years of relevant security experience.
• Thorough knowledge of the security field.

Responsibilities

• Recommend and implement security measures for bank systems per AVP guidance.
• Oversee firewall, anti-malware, MFA, and secure email gateway monitoring.
• Update security policies and maintain SOPs.
• Provide IT security training and implement best practices (NIST, FS-ISAC).
• Manage patch process with Risk Oversight Group and incident analysis.
• Review security incidents with Risk Oversight Group.
• Maintain logs and alerts via SIEM and coordinate with teams.
• Develop and update business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
