Job summary

Regions Bank is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to support cloud applications, infrastructure, platform security, and related technologies within the Cyber Security organization. The role involves designing and implementing security solutions, providing technical administration, and staying current with industry trends.

The position emphasizes on-site work with regular office days, collaboration with business areas, project teams, and vendors, and adherence to risk management and cybersecurity

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of information security/IT experience with a high school diploma.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred in IT/CS.
• Knowledge of web, cloud, and enterprise networks.
• Familiarity with security tools and controls.

Responsibilities

• Designs, implements, and supports cyber security technology solutions.
• Provides administration including troubleshooting, patching, and day-to-day support for applications.
• Keeps abreast of industry trends and evaluates objectives and needs.
• Maintains operational documentation and reports for trend analysis and projects.
• Assists with research, proof-of-concept, and build vs buy analyses.
