Job summary

United-Biosource-Corporation is seeking a Senior IT Security Analyst to strengthen its Cybersecurity program across Azure cloud and on-prem environments. You will perform threat intelligence analysis, assist the incident response team, and ensure assets meet ISO 27000, HIPAA, GDPR, and CCPA standards.

You will lead vulnerability management, monitor security alerts, and collaborate with IT and development teams to implement secure configurations, reporting and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field or 4–6 years of equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in IT Security and in Azure cloud.
• Certification in Information Security (GIAC - GSEC, Security+, CISSP, CompTIA CySA+ or equivalent) preferred.
• Familiarity with GDPR, HIPAA, GDPR, 21CFR part 11, Sarbanes-Oxley.

Responsibilities

• Ensure security controls are deployed, operating effectively, and aligned with organizational security policies and standards.
• Monitor, review, analyze, and respond to security alerts from various platforms.
• Tune and optimize security alerts to reduce false positives and improve detection.
• Lead vulnerability management lifecycle and remediation efforts.
• Perform web application security scans and provide remediation guidance to developers.
• Participate in incident response activities including containment and recovery.
• Develop and apply updated security measures to meet changing threats and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with IT, engineering, and business teams to implement secure configurations and policies.
• Maintain accurate security documentation for systems, applications, and processes.
• Support annual security initiatives and related deliverables.
