The Panther Group is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to oversee major university technology initiatives in Boston, MA. The role requires Workday implementation experience and a hybrid work arrangement, with three days on site in Boston.

Ideal candidates will bring 8–10 years of enterprise project management, cross-functional leadership, and strong change-management skills to deliver on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive enterprise technology project management experience.
• Experience leading large, cross-functional technology initiatives within matrixed organizations.
• ERP implementations (Workday preferred).
• CRM platforms, cloud technologies, and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple large-scale enterprise technology projects from initiation through completion.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocations, and project documentation.
• Ensure successful project delivery while managing scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
• Partner with business leaders, executive stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors to drive project success.
• Facilitate project governance meetings and communicate project status, milestones, risks, and key decisions.
• Lead organizational change management activities, including implementation planning, user adoption, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Guide cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor project performance, financials, and resource utilization while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Conduct project closeout activities, including documentation and lessons learned.
