Job summary

B&A is seeking a Senior Information Technology Project Manager to support the U.S. Army INSCOM CME IT Support Services contract. Primary duty location: Fort Gordon, GA.

Responsibilities cover planning, execution, and governance of IT projects, vendor coordination, budget and ROI analyses, and ensuring quality and timelines. The ideal candidate has 5–10+ years in IT project management, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and a PMP certification (PgMP desired).

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years in IT project management.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Requires PMP certification; PgMP is desired.
• Proven track record of managing large IT projects, overseeing contracts, and tracking progress.

Responsibilities

• Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects.
• Lead and guide the work of technical staff, serving as a liaison between business and technical aspects of projects.
• Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage.
• Monitor project progress to ensure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.
• Manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.
• Collaborate with project personnel to identify and resolve problems.
• Monitor and track project milestones and deliverables.
• Submit project deliverables while ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Assess current and future customer needs and priorities through direct communication, surveys, or other methods.
• Initiate, review, and approve modifications to project plans.
• Schedule and facilitate meetings related to IT projects.
• Direct and coordinate the activities of project personnel.
• Develop implementation plans, including cost-benefit and return-on-investment (ROI) analyses.
• Identify requirements for initial or supplemental project resources.
• Develop and update project plans outlining objectives, technologies, systems, specifications, funding, and staffing.
• Perform risk assessments and develop appropriate response strategies.
• Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Identify, review, and select vendors or consultants to meet project needs.
• Develop and manage annual budgets for IT projects.
• Establish and execute project communication plans.
• Develop and manage work breakdown structures (WBS) for IT projects.
• Monitor project team performance and provide documented performance feedback.
• Coordinate recruitment and selection of project personnel.
• Assign duties, responsibilities, and authority to project personnel.
• Negotiate with project stakeholders or suppliers to obtain necessary resources and materials.
