Job summary

Bart & Associates, Inc. seeks an Information Security Specialist – SME (Assistant ISSM) to support Army INSCOM CME IT services. Primary duty location is Fort Gordon, GA, with an anticipated start in January 2027 and a 5-year program of performance.

The role requires 10–15+ years in security management, active TS/SCI clearance, and advanced certifications. You will work on RMF, accreditation, and security controls for DoD systems.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years in information security management.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity or equivalent experience.
• Experience developing and overseeing security policies.
• Advanced security management certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Support the Information System Security Officer and provide information assurance and system accreditation support.
• Plan, implement, monitor, and improve security measures for systems, networks, and protected information.
• Perform risk assessments, security testing, vulnerability and access reviews, and document security procedures and corrective actions.
• Support RMF accreditation and security compliance, including POA&M tracking, configuration/change management, and inspection readiness.
• Coordinate with users and technical teams on security incidents, system access, training, and security awareness.
