Job summary

B&A is seeking an Information Security Specialist - SME (Assistant ISSM) to support Army INSCOM CME IT services. Primary duty location: Fort Gordon, GA. Role involves RMF accreditation, security testing, and incident coordination with government and contractor teams.

Ideal candidate has 10-15+ years in information security management, advanced security certifications, and a TS/SCI clearance, with a background in policy development and risk assessment in DoD environments.

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years in information security management.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity or equivalent experience.
• Experience developing and overseeing security policies.
• Advanced security management certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Support the Information System Security Officer and provide information assurance and system accreditation support.
• Plan, implement, monitor, and improve security measures for systems, networks, and protected information.
• Perform risk assessments, security testing, vulnerability and access reviews, and document security procedures and corrective actions.
• Support RMF accreditation and security compliance, including POA&M tracking, configuration/change management, and inspection readiness.
• Coordinate with users and technical teams on security incidents, system access, training, and security awareness.
