Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in project management, information technology, or a closely related field.
• Eight or more years of professional experience in IT project management or a related field, including: Managing the implementation of technology projects.
• Organizing, presenting, facilitating, and negotiating with diverse stakeholders and user groups.
• Quality assurance and coordinating with staff and contractors engaged in program development, procurement, and implementation of equipment and systems.
• Managing complex projects from planning phase through implementation, including contract administration and oversight.
• Expert technical and non-technical written and verbal presentation and communication.
• Expert knowledge of Project Management fundamentals and strategies.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex transportation technology projects with defined goals, timelines, and budgets.
• Develop technical recommendations for decision-makers and oversee integration of new technologies.
• Coordinate contracts and interagency agreements, supervising consultants and contractors.
• Create clear, timely updates for stakeholders and leadership; tailor messages for diverse audiences.
• Ensure projects meet budget, schedule, quality, and safety requirements and manage project closeout.
