About the Role
At Essity we are going through our Digital transformation based on S4HANA and other SAP products. We have a Global template which has been piloted and we are now rolling it out to countries across the world. In this exciting journey we are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager who could work in a team and contribute towards our program and roll-out projects.
As an IT Senior Project Manager - SAP, you will be part of the central Project Delivery team and you play a pivotal role in the successful roll-out of our Global template across geographies. You will manage IT projects of advanced complexity or multiple projects simultaneously. Lead large projects often including cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams, expertly managing project scope, resources, budget, risks, and timelines to ensure successful delivery that is in strong alignment with strategic objectives and business requirements. This role demonstrates deep expertise in utilizing multi-method delivery models and standardized processes and methodologies and could lead or mentor small team of IT Project Managers or IT Project Leaders.

What You Will Do
* Contribute to our Digital transformation program and roll-out projects from a Project Management perspective
* Manage and lead IT projects with advance complexity or multiple streams, based on scope, size, scale, number of organizational areas or stakeholder groups, strategic alignment, technical intricacy, and risks, etc.
* Drive project scope, resources, timelines, budget, risks, communications, and change management, ensuring projects stay on track and meet defined objectives.
* Leverage advanced project management methodologies, including agile and hybrid approaches, to deliver business outcomes effectively
* Lead large, often cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams cutting across several organizational areas, leveraging internal expertise to ensure collaboration and alignment. Could directly lead or mentor small team of IT Project Managers or IT Project Leaders.
* Drive strategic alignment of projects with business requirements, organizational goals, and BU/GU strategies to maximize impact and value delivery.
* Lead high-impact project execution in line with developed budget, scope, and timeframes, contributing to positive project outcomes and KPIs
* Proactively identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing corrective actions as needed to maintain project success.
* Orchestrate complex cross-functional team (internal and external resources), communication, collaboration, and engagement across all IT project stakeholders, ensuring smooth information flow and timely decision-making.
* Steer forecasting and resource management strategies, ensuring the effective and efficient use of resources across the project lifecycle.
* Manage quality of project deliverables through regular status reports and tracking of key metrics , contributing to positive outcomes by ensuring that the project stays on schedule & within budget
* Oversee comprehensive project documentation, including detailed project plans and reports.
* Foster vendor relationships, manages contractual agreements and administers third-party contractors, ensuring that deliverables meet project requirements.
* Actively contribute to the development and enhancement of methodologies (agile and hybrid), tools, and best practices, while supporting governance.
Who You Are
* Minimum 5 years of proven leadership managing advanced complexity or multiple projects simultaneously
* Extensive experience in project management methodologies & tools and ability to adapt and improvise. Preferably experience in SAP Activate methodology
* High proficiency in developing, tracking and reporting project plans and schedules across levels of granularity for large complexity projects
* Expert at proactively identifying and managing risks, issues, and interdependencies at project level
* Highly skilled at complex stakeholder management, managing cross-functional teams and building relationship with influential stakeholders
* Proficient in executing project-level change processes
* Excellent at forecasting and resource allocation of high complexity projects
* Demonstrated ability to lead/manage vendor/third-party contracts
* Highly experienced in managing project budget/costs, financial forecasting for high complexity projects
