Job Description: Project Manager (Waterfall) / ScrumMaster (Agile Digital Expertise Focus) Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project Manager (Waterfall) / ScrumMaster (Agile Digital Expertise Focus), preferably bilingual (Spanish) with proven expertise in Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall methodologies. The ideal candidate will focus on Agile digital delivery, enabling high-performance teams to develop innovative digital products and solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker who can bridge traditional and Agile project delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to high standards. This position involves a hybrid of Waterfall and Agile approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead cross-functional teams in managing digital projects using Agile frameworks (Scrum and Kanban) and traditional Waterfall approaches where appropriate.
2. Promote Agile best practices to foster a culture of iterative delivery, customer-centricity, and continuous improvement.
3. Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, UX/UI Designers, Developers, and QA Engineers to deliver digital solutions.
4. Establish project goals, deliverables, schedules, budgets, and resource plans aligned with business objectives.
5. Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
6. Manage risks, dependencies, and issues proactively, identifying mitigation strategies.
7. Monitor project metrics, generate insights, and provide status updates to stakeholders.
8. Mentor team members on Agile methodologies, tools, and mindset shifts.
9. Adapt delivery approaches based on project complexity and organizational maturity, ensuring flexibility between Agile, Hybrid, and Waterfall practices.
10. Ensure user-centric project outcomes, leveraging techniques like Design Thinking, MVP delivery, and customer feedback.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field; PMP and/or Agile certifications (e.g., CSM, PMP) strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of project management experience delivering digital projects in Agile and Waterfall environments.
• Strong Agile expertise, with hands-on experience leading Scrum teams and facilitating backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Proficient in Agile/Waterfall tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, and Miro.
• Solid understanding of digital delivery lifecycles, including mobile apps, web design, e-commerce, and SaaS solutions.
• Experience with Scaled Agile Frameworks and managing cross-team dependencies.
• Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical concepts into business language.
• Strong stakeholder management, leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Familiarity with Agile metrics and KPIs such as Velocity, Burndown Charts, Cumulative Flow Diagrams, and team health assessments.
• Bilingual in Spanish.

Physical Requirements:

• Regular attendance is required.
