Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead technical programs from initiation to completion. You will coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, product, and operations to ensure projects stay within scope and on schedule.

The role requires PMP certification and 10+ years in technology project management, with state health engagements preferred. Willingness to travel and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of experience in technical/project management.
• PMP or equivalent certification is required.
• 3+ years managing technology engagements for State Health and Human Services.
• Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Jira/Confluence/Microsoft ADO.
• Experience in enterprise/cloud environments.
• Ability to travel to client sites regularly.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage technical projects from initiation through completion, ensuring on-time delivery.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define scope, milestones, risks, and success criteria.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, RAID logs, and communications.
• Coordinate resources, facilitate meetings, and remove blockers to support execution.
• Track progress, manage scope changes, and elevate risks when needed.
• Support process improvements and establish PM standards and tools.
• Contribute to Business Development efforts.
