Franklin County Auditor’s Office is seeking a senior Program Manager / IT Project Manager to own a portfolio of in-flight technology projects following a tax accounting system migration. You will stabilize active projects, enforce delivery discipline, and drive predictable execution across ten migration initiatives.

Requirements include PMP certification and 5+ years of hands-on IT project management, with proven ability to rescue distressed projects and deliver results with minimal ramp-up.

Qualifications

• PMP Certification is required.
• 5+ years of hands-on IT project management experience.
• Proven experience taking over active or distressed IT projects.
• Strong documentation, organization, and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide day-to-day operational management of multiple active IT projects.
• Report to IT Director and align execution with leadership priorities.
• Manage projects involving application migrations, data warehouse updates, and reporting remediation.
• Break work into milestones, deliverables, and execution plans.
• Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules.
• Coordinate work across analysts, developers, SMEs, and external consultants.
• Mentor business analysts on documentation standards and project discipline.
• Facilitate project meetings using Microsoft Teams.
• Schedule, track, and manage meetings using Microsoft Outlook.
• Identify risks and drive early resolution to maintain timelines.
• Escalate issues to maintain delivery timelines.
• Ensure project documentation meets audit and compliance requirements.
• Enforce consistent project management standards across the portfolio.
