Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Parsippany, NJ is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale IT delivery programs across cross-functional teams. This role requires strong governance, budget oversight, and vendor management support, with a strict in-person presence in Parsippany, NJ.

You will coordinate multiple workstreams, drive change management, and deliver projects on time and within budget, reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in IT delivery with 10+ years in a dedicated Project Manager role.
• Led at least two large cross-functional projects to completion across various types (migrations, transformations, platform implementations, launches).
• Skilled in Agile and Waterfall delivery; able to manage hybrid workstreams.
• Proficient in project governance (RAID, steering committees, change control, status reporting).
• Experience budgeting, tracking actuals vs forecast, and presenting financial status to leadership.
• Proven vendor delivery management with SOWs and governance reviews.
• Able to coordinate multiple parallel workstreams (architecture, data, QA, security, infra, readiness).
• Experience with organizational change management and stakeholder communications.
• Must hold PMP or PgMP certification (active) at joining time.
• Mastery of triple constraint; able to build detailed financial plans and schedules from day one.
• Budget management depth: rolling forecast, EAC, variance explanations.

Responsibilities

• Own accountability for delivery across scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk from initiation to stabilization.
• Define project roadmap and integrated delivery plan with milestones and dependencies.
• Establish and operate project governance from day one (RAID, BOM, status cadence).
• Manage vendor and partner delivery; own SOWs, governance reviews, and SLA enforcement.
• Drive cross-functional alignment; chair dependency resolution and track resolutions to closure.
• Own project financial management; weekly actuals/forecast and change impact assessments.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies where applicable (PI Planning, System Demos, Inspect & Adapt).
• Proactively manage RAID log and escalate risks with options and action plans.
• Lead change management activities and stakeholder communications to ensure readiness.
• Be the single accountable contact for project health; provide weekly status with metrics.
