Job summary

Augusta Richmond County seeks a seasoned IT Project Manager to supervise staff and oversee the design, development and deployment of technology initiatives in compliance with laws and county policies.

You will manage project activities, coordinate with vendors and internal teams, ensure budgets and schedules are met, and provide training and guidance to staff while maintaining security and governance standards.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
• Four years in a project management position with at least one year supervising or leading staff.

Responsibilities

• Directs project management, implementation, testing, upgrades, support and training for applications.
• Oversees troubleshooting, data conversion, and testing within application support.
• Documents business requirements and recommends hardware/software solutions.
• Develops and maintains project management documentation.
• Assists with vendor scope assessment and contract reviews.
• Guides staff and monitors progress; participates in budget planning.
