Job summary

Amentum is seeking an IT Project Manager III to support the US DOE Office of Legacy Management IT Projects team in Colorado. The role emphasizes planning and managing medium to large IT projects, developing key capabilities, and modernizing processes.

You will apply project management practices, develop cost estimates and schedules, and ensure delivery. Travel is limited; US citizenship is required for facility access. PMP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, experience in lieu of education considered.
• Minimum of 7 years of applicable and proven experience in leading Information Technology / Services Projects.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• US Citizenship required for access to facility credentials/authorization; PMP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads or contributes to the design, selection, installation, modification, and operation of an information systems capability.
• Applies Project Management practices and standard procedures for applications.
• Develops documentation and delivers training in fundamentals of applications.
• Develops cost estimates, project plans and execution of projects.
• Follows SOPs and exercises judgment for non-standard assignments.
• Other duties as assigned.
