Job summary

Amentum is seeking an IT Project Manager III to support the US DOE Office of Legacy Management IT Projects team. You will participate on teams to develop new IT capabilities or modernize existing ones, planning and managing medium to large projects.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in IT (or equivalent), 7+ years leading IT projects, and US Citizenship for access. PMP preferred; driver’s license required; travel <5%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years leading IT/projects experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• PMP certification preferred.
• US Citizenship required for access to the site.
• Ability to obtain and maintain facility credentials.

Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to design, selection, installation, modification, and operation of an IT capability.
• Apply project management practices to IT projects.
• Develop documentation and deliver training for applications.
• Schedule and manage project costs.
• Exercise judgment on non-standard assignments.
• Develop cost estimates, project plans and execution.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
