Job summary

Public Consulting Group is seeking a Senior Consultant to manage a major ERP migration project within our Technology Consulting Practice. You will serve as the primary client contact for State project leadership, guiding IV&V activities and ensuring high-quality deliverables and insights across the project spectrum.

The role requires extensive experience in IV&V, project oversight, and ERP implementations, with a base in NC, SC, FL, or GA and willingness to travel regionally.

Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale cloud ERP implementations or technical ERP project management (e.g., PeopleSoft or SAP S/4HANA migration).
• Independent Verification and Validation experience on ERP/Financial system projects.
• Must be based in NC, SC, FL, or GA.
• At least 10 years of technology experience.
• 5+ years in IV&V, project management, QA, or oversight for state governments.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams and keep stakeholders informed.
• Solve complex client problems with a consultative mindset.
• Identify blockers and surface root causes; guide teams to resolution.
• Manage SDLC activities across business analysis, architecture, design, development, testing, and implementation.
• Apply financial acumen to improve project outcomes.
