Job summary

Public Consulting Group is seeking a Senior Consultant to manage a public sector ERP migration project, delivering IV&V services with a focus on quality, compliance, and stakeholder alignment.

You will lead a project team, coordinate across SDLC phases, and apply strong communication skills to influence state government clients while supporting business development and solution strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 10 years' experience required, graduate degree preferred
• 5-10 years' relevant work experience in IV&V, project oversight, QA, or implementation for state governments
• Experience with large-scale cloud ERP implementation or PM of cloud ERP (PeopleSoft or SAP S/4HANA) is required
• Must be based in NC/SC/FL/GA; willing to travel 25% regionally and occasionally nationwide
• Excellent writing and presentation skills; ability to influence diverse stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams, provide direction, and keep stakeholders informed
• Proactively solve complex client problems from pursuit through execution
• Identify root causes and surface patterns for leadership review
• Coordinate deliverables and progress across SDLC activities
• Apply financial acumen to improve project outcomes
• Support responses to RFPs and strategic market positioning
