Job summary

The University of Notre Dame’s Office of Information Technology is seeking a collaborative IT Project Manager to lead matrixed teams delivering high-impact technology and business process solutions across the University. You will guide enterprise initiatives from initiation through operational transition, shaping PM methodologies and governance.

You’ll manage depth and breadth of projects, partner with campus leaders, and mentor peers, while providing clear executive dashboards and data-driven

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree related to business, information systems, CS, or related field.
• At least 5 years of IT project management experience.
• Ability to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana, monday.com, Wrike, ClickUp.
• MBA / MNA or related discipline preferred; ITIL Foundations or higher certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional IT initiatives using Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methods.
• Collaborate with campus leaders and technical teams to align deployments with business processes.
• Oversee full project lifecycles: scope, schedule, resources, budget, risk, and vendor integration.
• Mentor other project managers and promote proper methodologies, processes and reporting.
• Maintain project data for executive reporting and dashboards.
• Contribute to process and tool improvements for project management.
