Job summary

Seneca Resorts & Casinos seeks an IT Project Manager responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects on time and within budget. You will coordinate internal teams and external contractors, define objectives, and oversee quality control throughout the life cycle.

You will lead project teams, manage risks, and deliver progress reports while ensuring adherence to policies and information security guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have 4–6 years of IT project management experience coordinating and supporting IT business processes.
• CAPM, PMI or equivalent certification preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Information Technology, Engineering or related field.
• Experience with project management tools and/or software packages.
• Scheduling and budgeting experience.
• Strong leadership managing people.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing environments and priorities.
• Experience with vendor negotiations.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Proven problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs and manages complex projects/programs from design to production.
• Defines requirements and plans lifecycle deployment with project sponsor and scope.
• Allocates resources and defines roles for project implementation.
• Determines if external consultants are needed and manages staffing.
• Communicates milestones and expectations to project team and management.
• Develops risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
