Job summary

Dexter Technologies Inc. is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager for Applications to lead complex software initiatives in a hybrid Columbus City, IN environment.

The role requires managing multiple projects with strong Agile and Scrum practices, coordinating with executives and stakeholders, and delivering on IT strategy and roadmaps. The ideal candidate has extensive PM experience in digital initiatives, CRM/ERP exposure, and a proven track record of delivering on time within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or relevant experience.
• 10 years of managing initiatives in a digital environment, preferably in manufacturing.
• PMP and/or CSM certifications are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects with milestones, issues and risks, driving the team to meet goals.
• Partner with leadership to align IT efforts with the company roadmap.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and vendor contracts to ensure value and quality.
• Oversee integrations, cloud migrations, and SaaS implementations to optimize platforms.

We are actively seeking qualified candidates for the following position for our client:

Senior IT Project Manager Applications

Type: Direct Hire

Location: Columbia City, IN (Hybrid 4 days onsite per week)

Key responsibilities include:

• Strong Project Management experience with good understanding of Agile frameworks.
• Experience Managing Applications, software development project implementations, custom built, COTS and SaaS solutions, upgrades, Cloud migrations and integrations
• Experience in Scrum project management with good understanding of traditional framework
• Responsible for all aspects of a project including managing milestones, identifying and tracking issues and risks, and driving the team to meet project goals.
• Partner with leadership and stakeholders to align ongoing efforts.
• Contributing to the team by participating in solution definition and removing roadblocks
• Establishing strong relationships with IT and business stakeholders.
• Managing budgets, forecasts and vendor teams; Coordinates vendor selection and contracting.
• Ensuring alignment of project objectives with the overall IT strategy and roadmap
• Ensures project or framework specific governance is implemented
• M&A experience and experience with integration is desired

Additional experience:

• Experience with CRM implementation is a plus
• Experience with ERP implementation is a plus
• Experience in managing Infrastructure projects is a plus

Technical knowledge/skills

• Advanced knowledge of IT standards, policies and procedures
• Advanced knowledge of Traditional and Agile frameworks
• Proficient working with technology platforms
