Job summary

Techstra Solutions LLC in Pittsburgh is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead client-facing engagements in IT consulting, spanning AI, software development, data, and automation. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage scope and timelines, and serve as the primary liaison with clients to drive measurable outcomes.

You will direct multidisciplinary teams, monitor budgets, and report project health to stakeholders.

Qualifications

8+ years of professional project management experience within an IT consulting organization.
Current Scrum Master Certification (CSM or equivalent).
Experience managing projects in AI, software development, data, or automation domains.
Local presence in or willingness to be based in Pittsburgh, PA.
Expertise in managing lifecycles using non-agile (waterfall or hybrid) delivery methodologies.
Proven track record of managing paid client engagements and delivering complex technical solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with stakeholders.
Strong critical thinking and analytical problem-solving abilities with risk management.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and prioritization.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and ownership mindset regarding project outcomes.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end management of client-facing consulting engagements from initiation to closure.
Direct multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality AI, software, data, and automation solutions.
Serve as the primary liaison between client stakeholders and internal technical teams on scope and timelines.
Monitor project health, budget utilization, and resource allocation for leadership and clients.
Facilitate planning, risk management, issue resolution, and status reporting in a non-agile delivery framework.
Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and align with client business requirements.
Provide mentorship to team members to maintain engagement and productivity.
Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and delivery methodologies.
Translate complex technical requirements into actionable tasks and documentation.
Maintain strong client relationships with a proactive problem-solving approach.
